Thinking about grinding your own coffee? Here's a tip: Don't waste your money on a blade grinder.
The reasons you should stear clear of one of these cheap and cheerful implements are numerous.

You will almost certainly not get a consistent grind size so every cup may taste different.
The very high speed that these things run at means a lot of friction and the oil in the beans can get burnt.

A doser grinder - you only need to grind the right amount so the coffee is fresh and waste is reduced. Ascaso grinders offer a Micrometric Regulation System to control the quality and consistency of the grinds. This is one of the few grinders that offer such precise adjustment to the grind setting.
